A couple from New York City fell in love with a Gregory Ain home in Silver Lake. A small jewel of a house that needed a full restoration and updates, the couple also wanted to find space for a home office. We took advantage of space beneath the hillside home for the new office, and added a new hallway skylight stacked over a glass floor to create ambient natural light in the new basement office. The renovation of the project was faithful to Ain's original design intent.
