The Allenwood project was a full remodel of a house originally designed by Thornton Abell. The project had a heavy focus on materials and detailing, and included a new primary bedroom and bathroom addition by the studio. The new bedroom volume was designed to match and extend the pre-existing folding roof. Terrazzo took center stage at the new bathroom, featured on the countertops, floors, and new tub.
